Measured Compressor Energy Cost

Estimate annual electricity cost from logged package energy. Use a representative production period including loaded, unloaded and standby time. This excludes maintenance, demand charges, taxes and installation; it does not predict savings from a motor nameplate.

Input limits: logged energy up to 1,000,000,000 kWh; logged and annual hours up to 8,784; tariff up to 10,000 currency units/kWh. These are calculator limits, not equipment ratings.

Worked example

Example: 150 kWh over 10 hours gives 15 kW average; 4,000 hours at 0.10 per kWh gives 6,000 per year. Repeat with each quote’s measured or agreed load-profile data.
