Point-of-Use Pressure Budget

Screen a proposed pressure budget using measurements at the same flow and operating condition. Enter gauge pressures in bar. This arithmetic does not size a receiver, pipe, relief valve or compressor, and does not establish safe equipment ratings.

Calculator inputs are limited to 0–500 bar, with required pressure above zero. This range is a software input limit, not a pressure rating for any component.

Worked example

Example: 8 bar at the package, less 0.4 bar treatment loss and 0.6 bar network loss, leaves 7 bar at the use point. Against a 6 bar minimum the margin is 1 bar. A short peak can still pull pressure below this steady-state estimate.
